Sex and the City

Things men can learn watching 'Sex and the City'. Men make your peace with it and begin to use it to your advantage !!!

5. Modern women can be suspicious and cynical about romantic gestures
Evidence:
Carrie chastises a Russian painter for reading love poem to her
Lesson learned: Outside of the big holidays, valentine's day and christmas, attempts to providewomen with romantic gifts are generally futile.

4. Women can sabotage their relationships to make them fail
Evidence:
Samantha cheated on her boyfriend and even told him before she did it. why? Because she was nervous about being in a long term relationship and was hoping to use her infidelity as a means to push him away.
Lesson learned: When a relationship goes sour, know that there is a good chance it wasnt beer and sports tht drove your girlfriend away; it was her own neurosis.

3. Women like to drink
Evidence: Women on the show open their mouth for 3 reasons: talking, eating and pounding back liquor.
Lesson learned: Alcohol is the quickest way to bring basic human drives - such as agression, sadness and most importantly, sex - to the forefront of any social interaction This reminds me of an sms i recieved - whn luv fails emotion works, whn emotions fail memories work, when memeories fail words work, when words fail tears work and when everything fails - 90 ml of vodka - it definately works... hehe

2. Despite their cynicism about romance, the word 'love' is still very important to women
Evidence:
Though Carrie and her boyfriend went to a party together, she had no problem leaving with one of the waiters. Because the boyfriend hadn't told her he loved her yet, and in the words of Carrie Bradshaw, "Everything before 'I Love You' just dosent count."
Lesson learned: The word love has become a key marker that often determines when a relationship becomes monogamous. This means tht even if you think you are in an exclusive relationship, unless you've dropped the "L-bomb" there is a good chance she is still assessing the other romantic options available to her.

1. All women are different
Evidence:
There is a reason no man has been able to capture more than one heart from the ‘Sex and the City’ gang: All women are different, and works for one woman in the realm of romance might not work for another.
Lesson learned: Just because most women have changed their values and norms when it comes to sex and relationships, it doesnt mean tht their personalities hv become synchronized as well. (I particularly agree to this lesson)

Yummmmmm

Its been 10 days tht mum is out of town n i hv been in the kitchen.. though this time mumz left a cook since exams are coming by n i know y so much of extra pampering... but i guess when mumz out i get to experiment in the kitchen with cooking... since i dont hv to do the usual chapati, sabji stuff this time, i hv all the time to cook something else,so whts on the menu.... Desserts !!!

For the first time i tried making gajar ka halwa... i had no idea how to make it but had seen mum once or twice adding things while making the halwa... so i used lil cooking sense tht i have n managed to make it.. though i never wanted to make a fool of myself so after it was ready i tasted it myself.. n to my surprize it turned out really well.. when i served it to dad he was surprized to see the gajar halwa.... hehe.... dad n sis enjoyed the halwa n they liked it so much tht in bout 3 hrs they finished it n it was around 1 kg....

Next day it was time to bake some cake... i hv tried a couple of times n everytime something goes wrong... so this time i bake it.. cake was looking fine but i had no guts to taste it.. n since all my experimental outcomes are tried on my sis, she was really happy tht i turned out well but thought tht the cake cud hv been a lil soft but was quite good in taste... this cake got over in like 2 days n dad felt like hving more so next day i baked it again n it turned out really well..... practice definately makes man perfect....

Now in all this i made quite a few other things chocolates & ice cream.... n this time nothing was wasted n nothing i made had to be thrown into the bin..... i m really glad bout it... now blunder is, mum left back 1 kg of cocoa powder n a pack a kashmiri kesar (saffron) which is really expensive (125 Rs. for 1 gm) n all of tht is over in like lil more thn 10 days...... All the ice creams, chocolates, cakes, brownies.... all of them chocolate flavoured... the thing is like when mum comes back its fine with the cocoa powder coz only i use it but with tht kesar getting over shez gonna kill me...not coz it was expensive but u hardly get it here... its the best quality n she had bought it n really used it carefully only while making kheer for special occasions.... i will hv to put the blame on dad for it.. i know thts the only way out n she wont say nething.... but whtever it is i really enjoyed cooking this time.... now with food i surely can make some good deserts.. hehe...

Wht a relief getting outta the depression

Since a couple of weeks there hv been good discussions at my place on I shud be going to the US rather going to Canada. Last week with my sis in law's visa being rejected n two of my other fnds visa's being rejected just added the not needed oil to the fire.. All these events led me to thinking so much tht i almost landed up being in depression..

Its not tht i hv a prob going to the US but i'm not in for doing another MS, n most importantly i'm looking towards getting outta this place for better work opportunities in terms of career in biotechnology with putting in minimum amount of time studying. Taking US into consideration i will hv to give in almost lil more than 2 yrs for a research based MS n as far as MBA goes i need to hv close to 2 yrs of full time work experience to get into a good B school... I really cant wait for so long, i've become really become impatient these days. Looking at the on job senario of biotech here im mumbai is equal to none, n i cant go to ne other city here in India.

I became too pessimist bout getting a visa which led to me being depressed. I so felt like talking to someone but i really had nothing to say coz my fear was quite baseless. I really behaved stupid n harrowed the hell outta Abhi n Chaitanya. But i was really feeling miserable. Thanks to Abhi, he helped me get out of this depression, which was so much imp coz i hv my final sem coming up (god, i guess we spoke on the phone for like freaking 4 hrs at a stretch not letting him sleep n yea tht was quite a few $'s i made him spend)

I guess i'm feeling better, will hope for the best. On a lighter note, If i get visa to canada, will be the best thing coz i really wanna go ther (its everything n the way i wanted), n if it dosent happen thn i guess i m really happy in mumbai n get on to job with a lil compromise on not getting into biotech. Keeping fingers crossed n good amount of positive spirits, i hope to hv things rolling my way... ab delhi door nahi..hehe

Happy Birthday Sis.. Sush mita..

Its her b'day today and shez has a long list of gifts she wants.. this time everything is not granted to her coz its going way beyond my budget...

But a nice gift she really wud appreciate it..She gifted me this nice platinum plated swaroski crystal watch on my birthday from her pocket money savings n flicking some money from mum's purse n emotionally blackmailing dad, though even i used to do that a few yrs back...she loved tht watch so much tht i wondered tht wud she gift me tht watch coz even i loved it a lot (we always land up liking the same stuff.. we've quite similar choice) but she kept a strong heart and gave it to me. loved u for that !!!

So i decided tht i m going to gift her back coz shez still in love with tht watch.. n when she opened it she was so happy to see the watch.. the only thing she asked was are u sure u giving it to me, hope u r not in sleep... hehehe... this was coz we both srtictly follow the rule of not sharing our things... we only steal them... hehe

Sush mita(she knows it y i call her this way)... hope u hv a gr8 n successful year ahead... yea n for a change i hvnt ordered black forest but dutch chocolate cake from birdy's.. plz dont crib on tht in the evening... love u always.. u a darling... muaaaaaah

Fab Days..

21.02.2007
My last lecture at KC n in the class a surprise thank u party waiting for me… This baccha party had arranged for flowers, gift n cake for me.. I don’t think or remem tht I or ne of us have ever given a thank u party to ne of our teachers… I was so overwhelmed that I was next to crying..These kiddo’s treated me with so much love n respect and something they hvnt even done for the teachers who hv been teaching them for pst 3 years.. I asked one of the teachers (Dr. Shanbhag) who witnessed this that “Do I really deserve this” n she told me, “Such moments make u humble, u’ve have got wht u have given them” . But I still wonder am I worth all this ?????

22.07.2007
At lunch I was eating sitting in front of the TV, and was unaware tht my grandpa aka Dadu was watching me.. There was no water in my glass and I forgot to take the bottle while having lunch, dadu gets me a glass of water n a bottle… This something I would never like tht he does it for me but yet yet he did… I had no words to say, but only shouted at him that hez not suppose to do all this. He smiles and says, u don’t worry its ohk, enjoy ur food… Don’t love so much dadu… u are a darling !!!

23.07.2007
I woke up late and I had kaki next to my bed with a glass of carrot n beet juice(I hate drinking it, but I hv to coz of the damn reduced Hb) and my medicine. She made a ULLO out of me and made me drink tht damn thing. Again it was lunch time and kaki called me thrice for lunch and I was like 5 mins which never ended. She came to me with the plate n feeds me with her own hands. The last time she did this was when I was in class 3. I finished my work and I asked her to continue feeding me and she did.. it feels awesome when some1 feeds u and i know my cousins were jealous(Dont worry pooju, every1 really loves me more thn ne1 else coz i m the eldest....hehehehahaha). Mom even u hvn’t pampered me so much in past couple of years except when I have put mehndi.

Y the hell did I write all this.. firstly coz I wonder am I worth all this Love and affection and Do I deserve this ??? Secondly was wondering that sometimes running behind life fulfilling daily duties we miss out so many small things tht actually bring meanings to our lives… LOVE and AFFECTION does make u HUMBLE ….

Seth G. S. Medical College & KEM Hospital

Hmm wht to say moving towards another end… 2 yrs at KEM was a gr8 learning experience, a wish tht came true to be a part of one of the oldest and prestigious medical college in India(though I wanted to do medicine from this place). I’ll always be called a KEM ite & it’s a proud feeling. The learning experience, influential people, career opportunities, it had everything & couldn’t have asked nething more than this… The experience of being in a medical school is way different from ne other college. The kind of people you are with, your dealings, the zest of students, it’s a vibrant and energetic atmosphere inspite of the fact tht u dealing with tensed and sad faces all thru the day. The interns and the residents at Cardiac unit, Gynecology and Pediatrics were fab people. They were the ones with whom I enjoyed the most. I guess coz of them I sneaked into many wards, right from an OT to the labour room to MRI & CT scan centre where only med students were allowed. I really did not realize where & how my 2 years passed away. It was hectic, stressful & irritating at times with the worst batch mates I can ever think of, But my faculty was just too awesome. Getting to do a clinical trial inspite of not being on a research program was all coz of my Guide/Supervisor, shez been damn sweet in these 2 yrs & allowed me to do whatever I wanted to and more important the way I wanted. Thank u Dr. Sathe, I know thank you is just not enuff. Aww… It’s a sad feeling that in just 3 weeks I would be out of this awesome place. Ahh my canteen, my pediatrics ward, my lab assistants, the nurses.. Oh God therz lots that I’m going to miss. Not enuff space to pen down what I m going to miss. I guess EVERYTHING is the right word.

Friends

I have made so many friends as i have moved on from school to high school to uni to job.. but therez something bout the old ones. Its like the wine, older the better.I enjoy the most with joseph ites and apparently the only girl left in the group who hangs around with these mad guys. Ah what a weekend i had with them. we just chilled around doing nothing. We decided to go out for dinner, with all possible places been rejected every1 came to a mutual understanding tht we go to a place close by as next day being MONDAY. Guys wanted to go to Bhagwati for pav bhaji as it was long that every1 went for it. Being Sunday and the amount of crowd gathers at bhagwati , I was really not keen on going to tht place but i had to give in coz every1 wanted to go there n eat. But there was a deal - if the wait time is more than 30 mins we go to pizza hut. I and Abbas were the first one to reach there as we were on the bike, jayraj and anish went to pick up Atul. Some how even Abbas wasnt interested in the pav bhaji as hez a pizza freak like me. The devil within me just cudnt stop me from doing this. I called Jayraj n told him the wait time is more than 1 hr and finally we went to pizza hut. I really dont have words to explain the comfort zone i share with these guys. I only realized it yest that they were equally comfortable with me being the only girl who hangs around with 6 mad guys. They have stopped counting me into the general category of girls( ahh i'm losing my importance.. hehe.. they hv stopped listening to me). Now with some plans coming up for Holi - a Thandai-Bhang party and a trip to Goa which they refuse to take me along (they will have to take me, 6 guys for sure can take care of one girl and may be another 2 ... hehe haha) Looking forward to what happens at the Holi- The thandai-Bhang Party on 4th March

Wow Ahhaha!!! What a Feeling..

KC College –After completing my graduation n then being a lecturer in the same college even though it was for a very short span,it is in itself is a great feeling. I went to college 2day 2 get my transcripts and I’m going to cherish this day all my life.

Since I was in college I thought of visiting my professor’s and moved towards Biochemistry Dept. to meet Prof. Moorjani. The moment I entered the department I had these students, my juniors who gathered around me. Just cant forget the smile on their faces. The first question I get ‘Where have u been ma’am? We missed ur lectures, are u taking lectures for us today?’ I was pleasantly surprised to realize that they enjoyed the lectures I had taken. Just for the sake I said yes I’m going to take lectures today and I moved on with my work.

At 2.30, the lecture time, biochemistry class is with max attendance & students waiting for me in the class. I enter the class with Prof. Moorjani, he took the attendance and asked them what was the occasion that so many had come to attend lecture, that to for Bioinformatics. Every1 sitting with smiles on their face and I happen to say bye to sir and the students.

There came a big shout from the class of 40 “Ma’am, u were going to take today’s lecture on Bioinformatics” only after which I realized the reason that the attendance in the class was so good was they thought I was taking the lecture. Prof. Moorjani goes “Mere lectures sun sun ke bore ho gaye hain so they don’t come for my lecs. This attendance is because of u. You have proved to be a good teacher who bring students to class. “

The lecture got cancelled coz every1 insisted that I should conduct the last series of lectures. I cant express my feelings in words, it’s just wow, fabulous, heaven. Since the class cannot be dispensed we were having good time discussing how I felt and they felt during the final year and these last months. Hearing the commotion inside the class, principal who was walking by entered the class. To add more to the glory I gained 2day, she entered the class and she chatted with me for a few mins and before leaving she tells the class, “I hope to see more Darshita’s coming out of this batch. Get all u can can from her”

I can say I’m blessed with love of all the teachers that came my way, it’s always a nice feeling when ur teachers recognize you and remember you. Today’s experience has left me speechless. With the juniors around and the last statement what my principal made, I cudnt have asked for more. I cant express my happiness in words but such incidences definitely make u humble in life.

A lesson I learnt – if u give love and respect to others, u will get it back!!!

An Achievement !!!!

Ahh ! it was an achievement. I managed to overcome my fear of being pricked by a syringe. In my 22 yrs not even once that I had to take injections or even get pricked by a needle. Something I was really scared of.

Mum and dad had given up on me, they knew that blood test is something I wud never go for. Doctor insisting to go for a blood check up since long, I avoided it for quite a few months. But this time I knew had to with the fever on.

I gathered up all the courage I had and went alone for the test. I went to our own lab and asked nurse to finish it off soon. I entered the room for testing, sitting with my eyes closed from the moment I sat on the seat. The nurse knowing me for 2 yrs now, she knew thts something I m really scared of. I just felt the prick and it was done in less than a minute.

The funniest thing is that even if I say I have overcome the fear, actually I havnt. I don’t even know how the syringe looked like and how she pricked and collected blood sample.
After the nurse said it was done, I just walked out without looking around.

But I’m glad atleast I went for the test no matter how it happened. Honestly I felt that I have won a war. It was a great feeling. When I went home with the blood report, every1 was shocked. Hehehe hahaha…

No one was bothered what the report said. Dad was so elated that I went for the test and that to all alone that he bought me choco chip ice cream tub which I wanted to eat for a few days but I cudnt coz of the fever….

Its definitely an achievement for me… hehe

Had lost my Head, just found it back..

After 3 days in bed with temperature I guess I’m left with no sleep in my eyes. I guess its been a year that I am up at 3.30 am gazing the sky and stars with some hot coffee and chocolate brownie (finally I made it). Just doing nothing, with my mind absolutely blank... wow it feels like heaven

I guess doing nothing at this hr just makes me realize that i got myself stuck with simply unwanted things and people around. Just took so called people’s practical thoughts and advices seriously and there I started losing myself.

Suddenly I became a sweet daughter to mom, best di in the world (I allowed kittu to wear my brand new tee’s n shoes which I just brought and that too without a fight), and apparently both of them cudnt take me that way. I remember kittu asking me, “ Di are u alright? Is everything fine with you?” Hehehe

I think I need to do something new. Life’s become monotonous. Same old thing, wake up, rush so that u don’t miss the train, go to the hospital n get ur work done, get back home, work on thesis, eat and hit the bed… its sucks

Finally done with thesis, now I will get some time to relax and just want to do nothing, absolutely nothing.i don’t feel like going back to job. My frame of glitter painting has been waiting like for 6 months now. My kitchen is also missing me, so I plan to make cakes n brownie’s n chocolates and baked pasta’s.

Ahh !!! how can I forget my boyfriends.. all have been complaining for long(how many nick’s I’ve earned – kalti queen, bhav khau and what not). Don’t u worry guys, we can now catch up for a few movies n long drives to lonavla, khandala n pune.

I think I’m just fine the way I am. Sweet to some, darling to some, cute some, stupid to some, idiot to some, intelligent to some, interesting to some, boring to some, trouble maker to some, silent prankster to some. I hope I hvnt missed ne1 in the list. It gives me no reason to complain. I guess u shud have few people who hate you. Being all good only helps the world, it does no good to you.

Hehehe.. now this is what I call… It’s Simply ME…

We The People…

We the People – my favorite talk show that comes on NDTV hosted by Barkha Dutt.

Today’s topic was Marriages & India.- Discussion on the right age to get married, Ideal partner and other social issues related.

Last segment – The right to choose the partner: Boy, girl or the families
With a few arguments between the older audiences and the younger ones, in between the crowd, a 24 yr old girl comes up really strong. She spoke for like 20 mins and no debate on what she said.

Wht she said –

  • In this male dominated society all over the world. The men behaving like Bush when it comes to marriage. If a girl rejects a man she has no brains, but if a boy rejects a girl something’s wrong with the girl. (No statement’s from the audience)
  • Every man wants his wife to be Aiswarya Rai hot and sexy – if a girl want some1 like John Abraham or Salman Khan – shez said you don’t go by the looks of a man.

Will a decent looking man though not very handsome marry an ugly fat girl – not a single guy agreed in an audience of 80 people. But a girl is married to a man of his father’s age and reason – that’s ohk. He has every thing.

What does a man see before getting married –
Looks (very very imp), then her nature, her job and how much she earns, how well she will take care of his family ( an unpaid 24 hr maid who can be at his service) and then may be for name sake, her family n stuff.

What does a girl see before getting married –
The nature of the guy and the way he treats her, they way his family wud accept her,his social culture, financial security, and then his looks.

The point to state the above is because – it’s the woman

  • who leaves her home, her parents and her life for a new start.
  • She is in new family with new people and new surroundings.
  • She is loaded with more social responsibilities – shez now a wife, a bahu, a bhabhi, chachi, mami and wht not

To what extend a man’s life change after marriage other than a new member in the family, sharing the room & the bed, and a very little responsibility to keep her wife happy till she settles in the new surroundings. After that husbands don’t bother. Have u heard wives making fun of their husbands but husbands always do. “every man finds his neighbour’s wife better than his”.

He stills wakes up late on a Sunday, first his mom used to wake him and now his wife does. Wife has more work to do on a Sunday than a weekday. He still gets food and tea ready, right in his hands whenever he ask’s for. He still doesn’t miss his cricket and football matches and parties and lots more…

Comparing to the man, does a girl’s life remain the same after marriage. She now has a family of her own not forgetting the one from where she came. So why not leave the choice with the girl – whom she wants to spend her life with and which family she wants to be a part of. Not because she gives in so much but for the reason that what she has been giving in so far, she wud do it with joy and from her heart and not for the sake of fulfilling her responsibilities.

The girl stops talking and an audience with complete silence just applauded. When she asked if any one wud like to put a word to her there was no one who disagreed with her.

But the most surprising thing was with a majority of 72% of male audience not a single man thought what she said was wrong or unjust.

Now my point to write this whole ramanyan – Men know where they stand but they are the last one to stand by a woman. A mother, a sister, a girlfriend, a wife and a daughter. Man cant do without women but yet they fail to respect her.

I’m really lucky and feel blessed that all the men in my life have stood by me. Not for once I felt I was treated different form a guy. (Except.… I’m not allowed late night parties that often and I’m refused drinks by all my boyfriends). Hehehe hahaha.

Again Love...

I guess past couple of days this word LOVE has been all around me. Since a Aniket asked me how do I refer to Love so I’m putting it here..

To me it is Learning Oneself by Virtue of Everything about another. To me it is Unconditional and can only be felt. The heart has its reason’s, where reasons know nothing. It has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get but only with what you are going to give which is everything. Its when silence is read.

I think its wrong to think that love comes from long companionship & persevering courtship but it definitely strengthens it. Love is the offspring of an Affinity and that Affinity can make you fall in love with a complete stranger in a hearbeat.

So to me love is unconditional…. Every1 experiences it once in a lifetime but it’s on life; who get their love and who have to move on with someone else

LOVE...

Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it.

They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. But we never stop loving tht stupid person.

"You can close your eyes to the things you do not want to see, but you cannot close your heart to the things you do not want to feel.” - That's what LOVE is to me... it just happens... Therez no escape...

Stuck btwn the HEAD and the HEART...

There are times when both the HEAD and the HEART are right in their own way. Thts where the trouble is... to go by wht the Head says or the Heart??? Both seems to be for the better.
If i go with one, will be difficult to deny the other and its going to affect me either ways...

I have become really impatient. Will have to wait and watch with time and decide is to what i should go with. damn..I wish that either of one is able to win over the other, just making it easy for me to decide & at the earliest... Though things are not too bad but yet its bad... i know i 'm being stupid, but thts me..hehe

Sometimes it better not to have a choice !!!

Lunch Time

Farhana's wedding has created quite a stir at work... lunch time is now time to discuss weddings, marriages, men and women... n to fight over who are better; wives or the husbands.. hehehe..

i swear to god, men really get touched on being criticized as husbands.. and if i m going to write more on this issue Avi is going to kill me at work.. hehehe

neways i got to rush at work.. some updates later on !!!

Jan 4, 2007

Something I never expected...

Last morning me n Farhana were planning our visa schedule n accomodation in Toronto. All excited to go. Today morning - these words that I will never forget, "what are you doing on 12th jan... u have to keep urself free... therez a wedding at my place". I said "yea i will but whose wedding"

She said "MERI, i am getting married!!!”.... and not believeing it n thought shez just troubling me. I hung up on her. 15 mins later she called again and I spoke to her mom … I was left shocked, surprised and lost. Was tongue tied. I told her mom will call her in some time. Called up farhana and we spoke almost for an hr. A thing happened to her which was definitely not expected and definitely not at such short notice. and she was all excited. The happiness in her voice knew no bounds.

All set to make a new start. A girl who always behaved like a kid, who kept troubling me when the hell are we going to land Canada & suddenly she has grown old and mature. I couldn’t believe I was talking to same old Farhana. Twist in life just; in time as short as 12hrs. A brand new life to start in another ten days… & now I am all excited… I get a chance to shop n dress… hehehehe

I hope u continue to live with the same happiness and excitement all through your life.. Good Luck and God Bless.

(Even if u are getting married, we are going to land Toronto together ;-), the difference being u’ll have an eager husband waiting for u at the airport. Hehehe hahahaha)

It’s Another New Year

Wow!!! I bought in the New Year the way I wanted. It was something I wanted to do for so long. Some wine (and Bacardi... finally I tried it), nice music, great food and my long time old gold friends. Pool side at Marriot looked so beautiful; soft golden lights, snowy décor, sweet fragrance and soothing music… what an ambiance!!! Clock struck 12’ and dark wide spread sky filled with fire works, the weather was gr8 with chill breeze taking rounds, old time friends and some good conversations on. Everything was just perfect…

With all this I walked towards the beach watching the waves splashing the shore. Looking back at the year that just passed by: Year 2006 – quiet an eventful year!!!
A year that taught me lot of things, with new things I learned about myself which came to me as a pleasant surprise. With quite a bit of success and acknowledgement, both on personal & professional front. Few speculations that I created & the way I responded to certain things left people with their eyes split wide open (enjoyed every bit of those moments to see ppl being so bitchy abt me and even more some were jealous… given a chance would like to piss them even more… haha)

As with life, some hiccups – the big one was the sudden intension of certain people to get me hitched for they never wanted to let go of those GUYS (there was not one but a couple of them) but all their efforts in drain. The year came to an end with a strong note – my wish to get out of this place looked moving towards coming true by getting offer letters from Canada. And as the way it has been all my life, dad n dadu standing strong & still with me in all that I have done and want to do… something I feel like singing ‘ruk jana nahi tu kabhi haar ke, kanton pe chalke milenge saye bahar ke’…
I don’t know but I am never in for the concept of making or taking resolutions. But the thing that I want to stick to this year, if you call it a resolution… being on the true side want to leave behind the past and move ahead with a brand new start in life and career. Want to learn to say ‘NO’ and become little selfish… just want to worry about myself. What I wish to have this new year would be my visa to Canada and I definitely deserve a publication for my paper in medical journal and making my deep down hidden wish come true… hehehehahaha……… and to see whats in store this year. Cheers!!!
